Dr Kathy McKay

BHB, MBChB, Dip Obst (Auck), Dip GU Med (Lond), FRNZCGP

Kathy, our full time General Practice doctor, has been with Queen Street Doctors for many years.  She is a fellow of the RCNZGP.  Kathy is a caring, competent doctor with a good understanding and awareness of current medical health issues.  She is committed to General Health and Preventative Medicine.

Dr Nadina Thwaites

BHB, MBChB, BSc, MRNZCGP

Nadina has been with QSD since 2005.  She spent eight years in the hospital system starting surgical training, but moved to General Practice for better work-life balance and more quality patient contact.  Nadina still maintains her skills in surgery and is available for minor surgeries such as removal of skin lesions.

Dr Alexandra Goldkorn

MBChB, BSc(Med) Dip, Paed, MRNZCGP

Ali completed her medical degree in Capetown, South Africa.  After a few years of working in South Africa, the UK and Australia, she came to New Zealand in 1998. She has been working in General Practice since 2002 and is working towards becoming a fellow of the RNZCGP.

Dr Nikki Vadgama

MBBS, MRNZRCP

Nikki trained at Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel and came to New Zealand in 2001. Nikki enjoys the variety of General Practice and she particularly enjoys living and working in central Auckland. 

Dr Kristen Sorrensen

BHB, MBChB

Kristen is a graduate of Auckland Medical School and brings to Queen Street Doctors wide experience in adolescent and women's health.

Dr Lorraine McKinstry (locum)

BHB, MBChB

Lorraine is a graduate of Auckland Medical School and has spent many years in General Practice in Auckland. 

Nursing Staff:

Pandora

Pandora joined the QSD team in April 2008.  Prior to working at QSD, she worked as a practice nurse for four years at a busy medical centre in Mt Eden.  Pandora trained at Auckland University and went on to do her Bachelor of Nursing (Honours).

Kerry

Kerry is a nursing graduate from AUT.  Kerry joined QSD in March 2010 and her nursing interests include wound dressing and paediatric health.

Janine (part-time)

Janine is an experienced nurse who works at QSD on Saturdays and during the week when needed.   

Front Desk Staff:

Sam 

Sam trained at AUT and graduated with a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery. As well as working on reception, Sam is QSD's Health Care Assistant and Phlebotomist.   

Alana

Alana, our full-time receptionist at QSD, is a recent BSc graduate having majored in nutrition and psychology.

Eliana joined QSD in 2008 as a receptionist. She is now studying at Auckland University and works on a Saturday helping with Reception and Health Care Assistant duties.

Hannah (part-time)

Hannah has been at QSD for four years and  is now studying full-time at Auckland University. Hannah works on Saturday on Reception and data entry.   

Administration

Kathy - Accounts Administrator  

Kathy joined Queen Street Doctors in February, 2010. Kathy comes from a background in accounting and office management and works full-time at QSD.

Dee - Systems Administrator (part-time)

Dee's part-time work  at QSD involves Human Resources, policies, contracts, rosters and communications.
